Welcome to the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership!
The Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership is dedicated to expanding quality afterschool, out-of-school time and extended learning opportunities statewide for school-age children, youth, families and communities.
Why Afterschool Matters
Afterschool, Out-of-School
Time (OST) and extended learning opportunities inspire and
support thousands of Massachusetts children, youth and
families every day. From project-based learning to music and
the arts to physical fitness and nutrition, OST programs
address the needs of the whole child.
Yet, only 20% of
Massachusetts' 1.3 million school-age children and youth
have access to afterschool and out-of-school time
opportunities. Join MAP Now to Support Massachusetts Youth! Sign up by clicking on Advocacy Center on the left side of this page to be added to our email distribution list and receive news about what's happening at the State House, and to find out how you can get involved! Update 6/24: Technical problems with our advocacy center registration page have been fixed! If you were previously unsuccessful in signing up, please try again. If you continue to encounter problems, e-mail info@massafterschool.org.
