To help accomplish this goal, the legislative language states there will be nine hearings across the state to elicit public input. The Co-Chairs appointed to this Commission are Senator McGee and Representative St. Fleur.
On Thursday, March 22, 2007, the ASOST Commission held their first meeting where the group discussed work plans for the next several months, including possible hearing dates and potential work groups. The Commission Co-Chairs also announced the launch of a web blog to keep people posted on the Commission's progress. It can be found here at http://massafterschoolcomm.blogspot.com/.
